Hi. I’m Amy Elspeth, a lifelong lover of art, nature, stories and the pondering of the life's deep questions. I got my first Tarot deck at age 12. It would be cool to tell you that I had a witchy Grandmother to teach me the cards, but it was just on a whim that my mother popped them into my Christmas stocking that year. Just a token gift, but it was magic to me and in those cards everything I loved – art, nature, stories, deep questions! I spent hours in front of our fireplace, playing with the cards and making up stories about the pictures. Years later, my formal training taught me that this is the magic of the Tarot – it helps us understand the stories of our life.
I have made reading tarot, along with teaching classes in earth-based spirituality my work for over 25 years. I also bring a lifetime of dedication to academic excellence and knowledge in a wide variety of subjects from esoteric to earthy with extensive training in herbalism, psychic development, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), neuroscience and energy healing. I later attended graduate school and I have been a licensed psychotherapist since 2009. Bringing these fields together creates great synergy and I weave these teachings into all my offerings.
